What is Self Love and doesn’t that mean being selfish?  I don’t think so.  It’s important to understand that to care for and love others, you must start with your self.  How can you give what you don’t have?  The negativity is all around us these days and I encourage you to stop a moment, take a deep breath, fully exhale, and feel gratitude in this moment.

The journey to wellness is not just about the food on your plate, but also about discovering what nourishes you in all areas of your life.

Trust me, I know first-hand how hard it can be to include your own needs in your hectic schedule, particularly if you are a parent or a busy professional.    It’s time to take care of you!

Today I want you to enjoy an Epsom salt bath. Epsom salt baths provide the body with magnesium and sulfur, which are key ingredients for healthy detoxification. Add 1 cup of Epsom salts, ½ cup baking soda, ½ cup sea salt, 1 teaspoon dried ginger and ¼ cup raw apple cider vinegar (optional) to a warm bath. After the bath, rub your body with coconut oil to hydrate your skin.

I also love adding my favorite essential oils to my Epsom salt baths. Keep in mind this is all about self-love. This moment is yours, it is not meant to be rushed. Take this time to play your favorite music in the background, light your favorite candle to fill the room with your favorite aroma, and soak in the bath for 15-20 minutes.

This is your time to let go of stress, practice self-love and indulge.
