5 Benefits of Drinking Ginger Tea
It’s a chilly day here in Montana and a hot cup of tea has been a blessing as I am sitting at my desk finishing up last minute details on my 14 Day Fall Clean Eating Reset.  We often think of ginger as a soothing tonic for an upset tummy or even getting airsick.  There are several benefits to ginger and I thought I would take a quick break and share a few with you.Ginger tea is a caffeine free herbal infusion with a warming, spicy aftertaste. By drinking it daily you can enjoy countless health benefits.  I’ll list five of these benefits.

1 – Improved Blood Circulation

Drinking ginger tea on a daily basis enhances your blood circulation. This ensures that all the cells and vital organs in your body have a steady, consistent supply of oxygen flowing to them. It also helps your body remove waste materials and prevents them from accumulating in your cells and vital organs.

2 – Reduced Nausea

Ginger tea is an excellent remedy for nausea. In fact, studies have shown that it’s more effective than over the counter remedies. So if you ever start to feel sick and nauseous, brew up a cup of ginger tea and the symptoms will rapidly melt away.

3 – Reduced Inflammation

Inflammation is an unpleasant condition that can affect any area of your body and cause them to become painful, red and swollen. Ginger tea reduces inflammation within the body and is a great remedy if you’re suffering from pain, swelling or redness in your muscles or joints. In addition to this, ginger tea has a soothing effect on inflammatory disorders such as arthritis and ulcerative colitis.

4 – Improved Nutrient Absorption

Consuming ginger tea regularly increases the amount of nutrients your body absorbs from the foods you eat. The nutrients in food support your body in countless ways and by getting more of them from the foods you eat you can enhance your energy levels, ensure that your vital organs remain healthy and functional, protect against chronic disease and much more.

5 – Protection Against Irritable Bowel Syndrome

One final benefit of drinking ginger tea daily is that it protects against irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) – a condition where a person suffers from abdominal pain at least three times per month for a period of three months or more. People who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome experience a number of negative side effects which include abdominal pain and cramps, irregular bowel movements, constipation and diarrhea. The good news is that studies have shown ginger tea can soothe the pain and other negative symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome and make it much more manageable for sufferers.

Summary

Drinking ginger tea is a fantastic way to enhance your health. It’s also tasty, refreshing and hydrating.
